Safeguarding at Dream Beam Parties

1. Our Commitment

At Dream Beam, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. We believe that magical experiences should always take place in a safe, supportive environment; where children feel valued, respected and protected.

2. DBS Checked

All entertainers, assistants and staff are fully DBS checked before joining the Dream Beam Team.

Checks are renewed and monitored regularly to ensure compliance with safeguarding standards.

No staff member is permitted to work with children until their DBS clearance is confirmed.

3. Code of Conduct

Staff must act as positive role models, treating every child with kindness and respect.

Physical contact is limited to what is appropriate and necessary (e.g. helping with costumes or games)

Language and behaviour must always be age-appropriate, inclusive and supportive.

Staff are prohibited from using personal phones or cameras during events unless explicitly authorised for professional purposes or taking a pre-party picture without anyone in the background.

5. Reporting concerns

Any safeguarding concerns are taken seriously and should be reported immediately to the management. Please report all issues either verbally on 07939664689 or in writing to molly@dreambeamparties.com

6. Training & awareness

All staff receive safeguarding training as part of their induction.

Regular refreshers ensure that our team stays up to date with the best practice.

Dream Beam promotes a culture of openness where staff feel confident to raise concerns.

7. Communication with parents

Parents are informed of our safeguarding measures before events.

We encourage parents to share any specific needs, allergies or concerns about their child.

Dream Beam works in partnership with families to ensure every child's safety and enjoyment.

8.Online Safety

Dream Beam does not share images or personal information of children without written parental consent.

Any promotional material featuring children is carefully managed with safe guarding in mind.

Staff are prohibited from connecting with children or parents via personal social media accounts.

9. Review & Accountability

This policy is reviewed annually to ensure it reflects current safeguarding legislation and best practice.

Dream Beam's Management Team is accountable for implementing and monitoring safeguarding standards across all events.
